Since 1991, Myrrh has worked in an unusual format: Her large paintings are 45 inches wide on 1/8 inch Plexiglas plastic. Painted with translucent acrylic paints, they are sometimes incised with a blade or power Dremel tool to archive white lines and texture. Lit from behind, they float in a window.
Since they are difficult to hang, brilliant reproductions in a round format are now available. The giclée (digital fine-arts archival) prints are back-mounted on disks of plexiglas, and hung mounted flat against the wall. They are like a "porthole into the unknown." Edition: 3 only in each of three sizes.
Choose either 40 inches $2000, 30" $1400, or 24" $700.
