Left:
In the Beginning was Logos, 1975, batik with embroidery
in center, 6 feet square. After hanging for five years in a Quaker
meeting house in Palo Alto, it faded.
Right: Quest, 1986, watercolor with incised white lines,
28 inches square. Upon much reflection, Myrrh deemed the white design
too rigid to suit the subject. Notice that the pattern in the newest
version is more fluid.
This work toured the U.S. with "Art and the Cosmos," an
exhibit seen at four museums, including Hayden Planetarium in 1994-5.
