Maps of various parts of the United States are combined.
Panels 2 and 4 are of the Basin and Range country in Nevada.
The bright red patches are igneous rock, either lava or granitic rock.
Below: The back side
is a combination of magnetic density maps
of the ocean and city streets.
The rectangular patches have velcro,
which holds all
panels together.
